Obituary of David Allan Venables

Sept 21, 1948 - Aug 30, 2020 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dave in Ridge Meadow Hospital after a brief battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born and raised in Vancouver to Gerald and Mary Venables. He lived in Maple Ridge for 36 years and worked for CP Rail and Interlink Express and as a driving instructor. Survived by loving wife of 45 years Rita, brother Neville, cousin Sue, brother-in-law Ron, sisters-in-laws Karen, Caleya and Leah. Nephews Robert, Colin, Reuben and nieces Naomi, Sianda, Avra and father-in-law Arthur. He will be missed greatly by all those who know his sweet and kind nature. He loved his family, garden, dog Whiskey and travelling. The family would like to thank Nurse Practioner Fiona Hutchison, the doctors and nursing staff in ER and 2 West in RMH for their wonderful care. Cremation and no service by request.
