Obituary of Ofelia Fernando Corpuz

With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Ofelia Fernando Corpuz into the presence of the Lord,Oct 4,2020 at Lions Gate Hospital,North Vancouver. Over the space of 2 years Ofelia’s health slowly declined untill her heart finally gave out.
Born in the Philippines,in Tarlac Province where she raised her family & was a school teacher for18 years,having a bachelor of science degree, Ofelia also worked in Israel for 3 years before moving to Canada in 2002 eventually becoming an insurance broker.
Her surviving family members are husband Dave, sons Genesis&Mark,daughter Gemalyn,brothers Rogelio,Mario&Dante,sister Letty, 6 grandchildren and many other family members. Her smile & laughter,her kindnesses,will be missed by many for a long time to come.

In accordance with Ofelia’s wishes a private service will be held Oct 30 in Maple Ridge,to be followed by an interment in Noth Van.
