It is with great sadness that the family of John announce his passing on February 11, 2021, in Maple Ridge, B.C. John was born and raised in Maple Ridge. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Viola McGinn. He leaves behind his siblings, Shirley, Gord, Vickie, Charlene, their spouses, and his nephews and cousins.

John lived his whole life in Maple Ridge, (Haney). He loved his dogs, “Nipper”, “Whiskey”, and lastly, “Lightning Lucy”. John spent time fixing lawn mowers and tinkering with small motors. John could often be found sitting outside his little house in his big armchair, observing people as they passed. John’s last residence was Alouette Housing, where he had many friends.
