Obituary of Joseph Edward Stack

Please share a memory of Joseph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with immense sadness that we inform you of the sudden passing of our beloved Joseph Edward Stack Jr (Joey) aged 35, on Tuesday November 29th, 2016 by asphyxiating on an obstruction of food at the Vancouver General Hospital. He was born December 8th, 1980 in the new Grace Hospital in Vancouver, BC to Janet Ann Stack (Leo) and Joseph Edward Stack Sr (Lillian). Joey was a graduate of Abbotsford Secondary School and a part of several different day programs and community inclusion events. He was very social and loved going to the monthly dances in Langley, Monday night football at the Haney Pub, and spending time with family. He also liked going for coffee, shopping for new “bling”, and colouring or doing his “research”. Joey had a “child like” innocence and was rarely unhappy but never held a grudge toward anyone. He was liked by everyone who knew him. He will be missed terribly. Joey is survived by both parents, his sister Debra (Chad), his half brothers James (Jaqueline) and John (Terri), his half sisters Cheryl, Marie, and Leighan and five nieces Shaivona (Runyo), Hailey, Adora, Teela, Aylah and one nephew Brandin (Chantel) and one great nephew Zeus. Funeral services to take place at Garden Hill Funeral Home 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge on Tuesday December 13th, 2016 at 1pm. Burial to take place at 21404 Dewdney Trunk Road at 2pm and reception to follow back at Garden Hill. Gifts of flowers or contributions toward funeral expenses are greatly appreciated.
