Donna Bryce, 82 It is with sadness that we announce that Donna Bryce, passed away quietly and peacefully on Tuesday November 29th, 2016. Donna was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on February 22, 1934. Married in 1954, “Queenie” will be deeply missed by her loving husband Tom Bryce, who enjoyed 64 fantastic years together. She was a mom to everyone she came in contact with. To many she was known as “Auntie Donna” Donna was an integral part of every community she lived in, including school councils, community sports, bowling, lawn bowling and the Olympics. Donna was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Her passion was gardening, she spent countless hours working in her beloved garden, her hard work and appreciation for her plants, flowers and shrubbery was admired by all those fortunate enough to see her work of art. She was an avid sports fan, known for placing minor bets on the game or event of the week. Donna was predeceased by her parents Fred & Charlotte Saher, her two brothers, Al & Eddie Saher, and her sister Elsa. Donna is survived by her son Jim Bryce & daughter Patti Minck & husband Klaus Minck. She is also survived by five loving grandchildren, Conner Bryce, Tiffany Bryce, Aisha Bryce, Liam Minck, & Kai Minck. Surrounded and supported by the most amazing neighbors, the family gives everyone their greatest gratitude. The warmest thank you to all the nursing staff at Ridge Meadows Hospital for all the compassion Donna received. To honor Donna’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
