Obituary of Janine Lara Saunders

Janine Lara Maydaniuk Saunders (Watson) of Kamloops, BC, passed away surrounded by family on July 29th, 2021, at the age of 48, after a short battle with cancer.  She was born November 1st, 1972 in North Vancouver.

Survived by her loving husband, Michael Trevor Maydaniuk, her parents Myra and Graham Watson, her brother Cameron (Erin) Watson and sister Anna (David) Hastie, nieces and nephews Darcy, Paul, Frances, William and Arthur, sisters-in-law Jacqueline (Kevin) and Tracey (Jack), as well as a large extended family of uncles, aunts and cousins.   She will also be dearly missed by her many friends and her former husband Trevor.

 

Janine grew up in the Lower Mainland and loved her career in banking and finance.  She lived her life with integrity and trustworthiness that was clear to all those whose lives she touched, both in business

and her personal life.  She approached life with a combination of style, grace and kindness that was exceptional and unique.  Her deep faith in her Lord Jesus Christ provided a template for her life and

gave her remarkable strength and courage during her illness.

 

A funeral will be held at SouthRidge Baptist Fellowship in Langley at 11am on Saturday, August 21st, followed by a reception at her brother Cameron’s.
