Ronald (as I used to call him) was probably the nicest man Ive ever met. He was instrumental in helping me secure the best job at BC Tel back in 1985. We started up a new division Portable Communications, which eventually became BC Cellular and then TELUS Mobility. Ron was my Boss for several years in a few different jobs I held throughout my 35 years with TELUS. After his retirement and his move to working with Pacific Coastcom I had the privilege of working with him again. I am at a loss as to how to put into words how much Ron meant to me throughout my career and also in my personal life. He was the kindest most considerate person I’ve come across. He was always there to listen and always kind and understanding. Ron brought so much joy to everyone who knew him and I know you would never find anyone who didn’t love him the minute they met him. I can’t say enough about Ronald. He was a very special man and he meant a great deal to me. My heart is broken for the loss of Ron. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
