Obituary of Isobel Forgues

 

April 14, 1922 - October 10, 2021

 

With great sorrow and love in our hearts, cherished memories we regrettably announce the passing of our dear mother, friend, advocate, cheerleader, active community volunteer  and great grandmother. Affectionately known as"Sity"was born in Cape Breton, Sydney, Nova Scotia then moving to Victoria before settling in Vancouver BC.  Predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Mary Isaac and her husband and eight siblings, including her twin sister.  Her legacy lives on through her surviving four daughters, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Isobel was happiest spending time with family and the many friends she met in her community. Many heartfelt thanks to Dr. K. Sommi for his endless love and care in her last years.

 

Due to Covid, a Celebration of Life will be postponed to 2022, when gatherings may be permitted.
