She always was positive and kind. We will miss her dearly.

We were shocked to hear of Petra’s passing. An active member of the Roche Lake community, Petra was an outdoor enthusiast and an expert Fly Fisher. Her passion for fly fishing knew no bounds and brought her much joy and pleasure.
I would like to think that Petra’s spirit is wandering some very high alpine lake, still in pursuit of that elusive, next trout. Petra will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her friends up at the lake.

Stunned and a deep sadness is an understatement for how we felt when we learned of Petra’s passing. How can this be? We knew Petra and her family through our son, Alex’s friendship with Ken in their early highschool years. The many visits back and forth from one parents’ home to the other as Alex and Ken spent their leisure time .. biking, skateboarding, snowboarding, etc. Petra and Don always made our son feel so welcome in their life and we will always be grateful for that. We will miss our conversations of fly fishing, puppies, gardening and our children. Our sincere condolences to Don, Ken and Kim. We will miss this fine lady immensely.

Steve & Thelma:
We were very surprised and saddened to hear of Petra’s passing. Our daughter Kelly and Kim were the very best of friends in their elementary school days. Petra always made Kelly feel part of the family, she welcomed her in home and included her in many of the Taylor family summer vacations. Memories Kelly cherishes to this day. We have many fond Halloween memories shared with Petra and Don wandering the neighbourhood with the girls while they collected their treats. Over the years I always enjoyed catching up with Petra when I ran into her at Triple Tree. Petra will be missed she was the familiar face at Triple Tree that was the thread that bound our families with our shared past expieriences. We will miss her our deepest condolences to Don, Kim and Ken.

Just wanted to pass along my sincere condolences to Petra’s family and to her extended family at Triple Tree……We met quite some years ago at the Ridge Meadows Fair, where she set up the display for Triple Tree for the Art Department or was it for the Horticulture?……….. Anyway, she was a very sweet person, that I enjoyed speaking with every time I came to Triple Tree … She had a special hiding place for the new purchases and we enjoyed and laughed about the search for them. I will miss seeing her and am very sorry to hear of her passing. Sending special thoughts your way.

Today I had made plans to shop at Triple Tree and saw the gates were closed. Then I saw the reason why and I was shocked and saddened to read about Petra. I am an old customer of Triple Tree. Being disabled it was difficult for me to reach for plants and Petra was always cheerful and happy to help. I cannot believe that she is gone. My best wishes for her family at this terrible time.

I am in total shock to learn of the passing of Petra Taylor. I am a regular customer of Triple Tree and whenever I went there, I’d always go to find Petra because she loved my dog, Carmella, so much. She always had kisses, snuggles and treats for her. Carmella and Petra had a special bond. Once when I went there and Petra was at a flower auction that day, one of the staff members took a picture of Carmella to show Petra the following day. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Petra will be missed by many. RIP sweet angel. You are in my thoughts!

I met Petra at a Women’s AM presentation in March of this year. She was a warm and friendly lady and I looked forward to seeing her again when I was at Triple Tree. Unfortunately I never did. I am very sorry to hear of her passing, I know that she will be missed by anyone who knew her.

We are very sad, shocked and deeply sorry to her of Petra’s passing. She was always very helpful and friendly when we saw her at Triple Tree or throughout the community. There are some people who give freely of themselves and who easily wear a friendly smile. Petra was one. We will miss her and are grateful to have crossed paths.
