Obituary of Allen Spannier

Allen (Al) was 81 when he passed away on Feb 19th,  Born in Claybank SK, he lived most of his life in Burnaby BC and made Maple Ridge his last home.  Allen was the 9th child of Marion and Lawrence Spannier; he was the last of his brothers and sisters.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Angela and his 2 children, Michelle and Ryan (Tina).  Allen was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting.  He had a special soft spot for all his family dogs and was never without a pocket cookie or a special treat.  His legacy of family and love has touched us all and he will be greatly missed.  Services will be held on Saturday March 5th at 1pm at Garden Hill Funeral Services 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge.  In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Maple Ridge SPCA.
