William (Bill) Liversidge
Bill Liversidge quietly peacefully passed at McKinney Creek hospice in Maple Ridge. Bill is survived by his loving wife, friend, and adventure / travel partner Eunice.
Bills memories will forever be shared and carried by his sons David (Tricia), Ian (Lesley), and grandchildren Kieran, Claire, Connor, Kate, and Braeden. Bill is also survived by his brother Ed Nye and spouse Heather.Together we will remember his kindness, compassion, unique phases and unyielding caring attitude to all.
Born in Toronto, raised in Vancouver, Hedley, Keremeos and Penticton BC, with Eunice the family home became North Burnaby. Bill was a career teacher in Ocean Falls, Lake Cowichan, and Coquitlam, retiring 30 years ago. Bill was forever a teacher for all, making connections, offering leadership, grace, and knowledge. Bill found joy with significant volunteerism within school music programs, Scouts Canada, minor hockey and most recently was recognized for long term service to Mayne Islands Lions Society as a past President.
For the past several years Bill and Eunice found community, health and happiness on Mayne Island, BC. He will always be remembered on “the point”, listening to the tide, the wind, and the birds.
