I am so saddened to read about Marie's passing. I only met her a couple of times, but she had a huge impact on me and my family. She was an amazing friend to my parents and a wonderful and kind person.

I had the pleasure of working with Marie for many years while I was managing volunteers at Ridge Meadows Hospital. Marie was a Spiritual Care Volunteer and was tireless in her efforts to support members of the congregation. She was always cheerful and even when she was in pain and you could tell that she was having a hard day, she was here. She especially loved to stop and visit with all of the pet volunteers on site. Whenever I asked, Marie would come in and spend time with someone if needed. And, I could always count on Marie to give me her honest opinion :-) . She was a treasure! My sincere condolences to her family.
