Obituary of Joan Deanne Gable

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Joan Gable of Maple Ridge, B.C. after a long battle with dementia.

She will be reunited with her true love Dennis and loving remembered by her children Rory, Michelle, Wendy, Gordon and stepdaughters Sherry, Sandy and Shelley. Pre deceased by her brother Danny. Also many grandchildren, too many to mention by name!

Joan was a member of St. John Ambulance for many years. She loved teaching first aid and working at events around the Vernon area. She also worked with the Girl Guides of Canada, and Navy League and Sea Cadets.

One of her greatest joys was travel. She took many cruise ship vacations with her close friends in the Red Hat Society. Mom loved being involved with these ladies.

We would like to thank the staff and management of of Holyrood Manor for the wonderful care you they gave our Mom.

Her life will be celebrated with love and tears by her family and friends; her memory and legacy will live on in our hearts, minds and souls. We all love you Mom.
