Obituary of Carol Mary Pazuk

(nee Roberts)

January 25,1936 – November 8, 2022

Mom passed away peacefully into the presence of the Lord on November 8, 2022 in Vancouver BC. She was born in Montreal, Quebec on January 25,1936 to George and Dorothy Roberts and attended St. Paul’s Academy where she gained a life long love for reading and active sports . In her youth she loved to play tennis and that is how she met her first husband Ronald Sleeman with whom she had five children.  She is  predeceased by her parents, her brother Michael and sister Joan Roberts. 

 

Carol moved to Windsor in 1966 and worked at the Canadian Pacific Railway as a clerk until she retired in 1997. She was well respected by her co workers . She met her  husband Peter Pazuk while bowling. Together they enjoyed traveling many times to Cuba, twice to Europe and across Canada. They also enjoyed their family in Windsor, bowling, golf and bird watching at Point Pelee National Park.  Carol loved playing bridge and achieved her Life Masters designation.  Mom also enjoyed many trips to Vancouver to visit her children. Carol was a kind and compassionate woman who had many friends and prayed  everyday for everyone she loved. One of her favourite  expressions was to remind us all to” Be gracious dear”.

 

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Peter Pazuk of Windsor Ont.

Children - Michael (Bernadette), Anne Marie, Joanna, Laura Sleeman and Kathleen (Sam) Andreatta of Vancouver  BC

Stepchildren - Dennis, Steven, Daniel  (Kasha) Pazuk, and Lisa (Don) Knowlton of Windsor Ont.

Grandchildren - Matthew (Mi-ran), Mark Sleeman, Nicholas, Ryan, Michelle Andeatta (Eli Carlson) and Justin, Danielle and Melissa Pazuk.

 Great grandchildren- Luke and Abigail , Jada and Cassius , Peyton, Rylee and Gerry Nieces and nephews: Peter, Andrew, John Cameron , Ann Cameron Fourier, Mark Pazuk and Kim Pazuk Butcher.  God bless you Mom.
