Obituary of Dulce DeSantos-Guzman

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearest hulasistah, Dulce. She peacefully died in her sleep early Tuesday morning, the 2nd of August, 2016. She is so much loved by her only daughter, Stephanie and her husband, Hernando. They would have been married for 30 years on August 18th. She was the beloved daughter to Luis and Priscila DeSantos and sister to Apollo, Lydia, Olivia and Cielo. On her husband’s family, she was the daughter-in-law to Lydia Guzman and sister-in-law to Dr. Leonardo Guzman. Dulce will be missed tremendously by all her family and friends. Hernando & Dulce were just in Hawaii this early July visiting her favourite place on earth. She loved Polynesian and Ballroom dancing.
Prayers and Celebration of Life
Prayers and celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 8th, 2016 at 6:00pm at Garden Hill Funeral Home, 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge.
Funeral Mass
Funeral Mass will will be held on Tuesday, August 9th, 2016 at 12 noon, at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 20285 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge.
Dulce will be loved forever. And she will be missed so much. As she always says, “Life goes on” but sadly, “Life” for us will never be the same again.
