Born May 26, 1941 in Glasgow Scotland.
On July 25, 2016 John passed suddenly with his loving family surrounding him. Predeceased by his Wife Jeanne (2010) they’re reunited now where they can dance all night also Mother Mary, Siblings Mary McLaughlin, George, Robert, James, Tommy Nephew Robert Jr and Niece May Mclaughlin. John followed his Brothers to Canada in the 50’s where he enjoyed playing Soccer for St.Andrews and the Oldtimers. John also had become an avid Dart player winning BC Championships. He later found a new sport called ‘bingo’ and enjoyed his games.
John wore many hats in his working career, Bus & Taxi driver, Bartender, Indust hose & belting Technician and retired as an Auto Plan Agent. John had a full life and is survived by Daughter Cherie & Son Darren Granddaughters Tanya (Imran) and Allison, Great-Grandchildren Madison, Mason, Aria & Ashur, many nieces and nephews in BC and Scotland and many friends will surely miss his charm and teasing.
Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016 at 11:00am at Garden Hill Funeral Home, 11765 224th St, Maple Ridge.
