It is with intense sadness that we announce the passing of Ed Goerzen. Surrounded by his wife of 64 years, Helen Ann, his children Lorraine Hardy, Barb Neufeld, son-in-law Art Neufeld, Duane Goerzen, daughter- in-law Melody Goerzen and many of his grandchildren, Ed / Dad / Grandpa / Great Grandpa breathed his last here on earth at 12:50 p.m. on April 5th. However, it is with much joy and gladness that we release him to the gates of glory to meet his Saviour & Lord, Jesus Christ!

Ed was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, was educated there, added to his Christian education in Kansas & Indiana and spent his life as a true ‘Pastor’, commonly known to thousands simply as 'Pastor Ed’. Career ministry locations included Mission, Burnaby, Surrey, Maple Ridge and around the globe including, Japan, Taiwan and Ukraine

Ed is survived by his wife, Helen Ann, his daughter Lorraine and husband Gordon, his daughter Barb and husband Art, his son Duane and wife Melody, 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren

A true Celebration of Life will be held at Maple Ridge Alliance Church, 20399 Dewdney Trunk Road on Saturday April 15th at 1 p.m. If convenient, please park across the street at Maple Ridge Community Church at 20450 Dewdney Trunk Road.
