Our grandmother, Monica Alice Annette Mohr (Rist), was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband (Elmer Charles Mohr) and three daughters (Joan, Ann and Karen). She is survived by her sister (Jessie) and six grandchildren: Tony, Jeffrey (Jennifer), David (Kayla), Darryl (Irma), Leanne (Thomas) and Caralee (Richard) as well as her seven great grandchildren: Felicity and Isabelle (Jeffrey), Joshua (David), Jonathan (Darryl) Ryan and Rylee (Leanne) and Olivia (Caralee).
Grandma was born in Hazelton, British Columbia on November 15, 1918 to William and Beatrice Rist. She married Elmer Charles Mohr and they had three children (Joan, Ann and Karen) while living in Ootsa Lake. The family moved to Haney, B.C. in the 1950s.
Our precious Grandma showed what God is…Love. She was a strong and unwavering Christian woman that God’s Love shone through. Our Grandma is home in Heaven with her husband and all three daughters as well as all her other loved ones. We will miss her warmth, kindness, and unconditional love.
