1964 to 2016
Denise was born in England in 1964.
She is survived by her parents, Barbara Lapitre (Don) of Grand Forks, BC, and Alan Golding (Leona) of St. Andrews NB.
Survived by Miles Coleman, spouse; Savannah, daughter , Vancouver BC; Elyse , daughter , Abbotsford , BC; Chantelle, step daughter , Maple Ridge, BC; John (Amy) , brother , Chilliwack BC; Lynn , sister , Christina Lake BC; Grant (Vanessa), nephew, Las Vegas, NV; Dane (Ciara), nephew, Mission BC.
Denise was an elite competitive Ballerina and for the past 25 years, a registered RAD teacher of Classical Ballet.
Denise was raised in Maple Ridge graduated from Garibaldi Secondary 1982 and continued to follow her passion of becoming an elite ballerina that took her across Canada and to many countries. She married Marc Lafortune and raised Savannah and Elyse in Abbotsford; where she opened The Academy of Classical Ballet.
2010 she returned to our Community and her love Miles Coleman where she has built an amazing Ballet program at Pulse Dance Studios.
Evening of June 21 she lied down to rest at 7:00pm, closed her eyes and gracefully rose to heaven.
She answered a call from her strong faith with God.
Service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, June 27th, 2016 at Garden Hill Funeral Home.
