July 3, 1961 – June 7, 2016
A free spirit, Karen was benevolent, non-judgemental and not one to hold back when she thought an injustice had been done. Born in Montreal, Quebec, she grew up through the FLQ crisis, relocating with her family to B.C. in 1972. Karen always left an impression and will be fondly remembered by all for her spunkiness and humour. Karen leaves behind her father Stan (Margriet), Mother Phyllis, Sister Dianne (Gary), Brother Brad (Wendy) and extended family. The family sends a heart-felt thank you to the staff at St. Paul’s Hospital for their compassion and high level of care.
