Dear Chris, Scott, Meghan and Erin:
Monika and I send our sincere condolences to you all.
Sorry I will not be in town to attend the service. But would like to share a few memories I keep with me.
I had the good fortune to coach baseball with Dave back in 1997 when we had a mosquito team. Dave’s ever positive attitude showed through many times.
Especially if a game was about to be called due to rain, Dave would call me from his garage leaning on the Land Rover and saying that he thought the downpour was letting up, I think we can play. Or his irreverent saying, when facing a rather imposing pitcher or batter “he is not 6 feet wide and bullet proof”. The best time was in 1999 when we traveled to Summerside, PEI to watch our boys in the Canadian Peewee Championships. We shared a room, Chris and Dave, Mike, and me. That was a wonderful week watching baseball, touring around and forever waiting for Dave to read ALL of the plaques, signs and information about whatever tourist place we were investigating.
Dave will be missed, but his memories will be honored.
Les

I was fortunate enough to work with Dave for most of my career. His influence on my work style and personality was enormous and hardly a shift goes by where I don’t say or do something completely inspired by Dave. His love for his family and pride in his children was often discussed. I know so many stories of his sons journey through the baseball ranks that I feel I was at most of the games and on the road trips to the states that Dave frequently took to support his boy.
It was inspiring to watch Dave battle over the past few years. He never complained, or gave in. His positive energy and sense of humour never wavered. When I cried into his shoulder and pleaded with him not to give up, he laughed at me, called me a name I won’t repeat, and told me not to worry. That is the Dave I will remember.
His laughter and spirit will echo thru the halls of many places, and his stories and life with us will live on for all of time. I, along with many of my coworkers and friends, will never forget Dave and the impact he had on us.
My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Dave Tulloch. I will always cherish the time I spent with this great man.
Sincerely,
John Polonio

Chris and family…We were very saddened to hear of your loss. Although we only had the privilege of meeting David a couple of times, we do remember him fondly and his memory always brings a smile to our face because of his friendly nature and boisterous laugh. He had the type of personality that you don’t forget.
Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

To my dear friend Dave,
Watching baseball games, family BBQ’s, dinner outings, backyard parties, weekend trips, enjoying a few pops and many a laugh together and too many many other fond memories to mention, these are the moments I’ll always remember. The 17 years since we met has flown by so fast, I truly wish we could turn the clock back and start over. Now I will cherish the memories, you will be missed but you will never be forgotten.
To Chris, Meghan, Scott, Erin and your loved ones,
Our deepest sympathies on the loss of a wonderful husband, father and friend, he loved and was loved and will be missed by all. We are there with you now during this difficult time and will always be there for you.

Dave,
I am honored to have worked with you over the years. Whenever you were on shift we knew we would have a smile and a laugh. You were never at a loss for words. Your muster briefings were classic old school, memorable and had us laughing in tears so many times. You received the highest levels of respect for being a no nonsense guy in a politically correct environment. Thank you for your service to the Ministry of Justice and the people of British Columbia.
