It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janice Faye Oslie (nee Welz) on October 3, 2024, at the age of 60. Janice was born on December 2nd, 1963 in Vancouver, BC to Oswald and Margaret (Nee Striker) Welz.

Janice met the love of her life and beloved husband, Keith and together they had a life full of fun, adventure and love. Janice was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for her family and friends.

Janice worked as a Conveyancer for Darnell Law Group where coworkers became her second family.

Preceded in joining the Lord: Mother & Father, Oswald and Margaret her husband, Keith.  Survived by: son Chris (Meagan) , grandsons Lukas and Kai, sisters Connie (Dave) and Leanne (Danny) and Niece Candice, nephew Tim (Shannon) and great niece Everley. Janice was also loved by many friends including her best friend Liz, Sharon, Erin and Rebecca who were hugely supportive through her journey

A private funeral service will be held for family and close friends. Janice’s final resting place will be at Ocean View Burial Park in Burnaby, BC.

We thank Dr Nguyen, Dr Pretorius, Dr Richards, and the 3 North staff along with their teams for the wonderful care that Janice received in her final months and days.
