February 09, 1941 – October 11, 2024

Dennis passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a brief illness. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Pamela, son, Damian (Michelle), daughter, Danielle (Burns) and son, Andrew (Brianne), granddaughters, Jennifer (Shawn), Christina (Harrison), and Anastasia, grandson, Thomas, great-grandsons, Henry, Ethan and Ezra, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dennis was born in New Westminster, and was the 8th child of Thomas and Gladys McCloskey. He grew up in Alderside, Port Moody, and attended Vancouver College.  Dennis began working for Woodwards while in high school and continued with them after they became Safeway, until his retirement after 41 years.  Dennis’s retirement was enjoyed spending time in his yard, with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and exploring many places in the world with Pamela.

Prayers will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Maple Ridge on October 30, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., and the funeral will be held at St. Patrick’s on October 31, 2024 at 11:30 a.m.
