Gord played for the Canadian National Soccer Team on their tour of the Soviet Union and Britain in 1960. He also was selected as a member of the B.C. All Stars in 1958, 1959, 1960 and 1961. He is survived by his lovely wife of 70 years Maureen and their sons Mike (Sandra), Bill (Sandy) and Wes (Diane) and their daughter Laurie (Graeme).
