In Loving Memory of Steven Wesley Kelly
June 12, 1970 – December 10, 2024
It is with great sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Steven Wesley Kelly on December 10, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Mississauga, Ontario, Steve later made his home in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Affectionately known as “The Talker”, Steve had a gift for conversation—he loved to share stories, listen deeply, and connect with people from all walks of life. His curiosity and wisdom made him a captivating storyteller and a thoughtful listener. Steve’s legacy lives on through his beloved partner Joanne Fahel, her mother Bobbie Halderson, his treasured grandson Carter, Carter’s mom Shelby Fahel, and her brother Elias Fahel. He is also survived by his two sons, Jackson and Nathan, his sister Sharon Crozier and her partner David, his nephew Logan and Logan’s partner Lauren, along with many more relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Steve was predeceased by his loving parents, Carol and Wesley. His laughter, wisdom, and warmth will echo in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he has left this world, his spirit lives on in every story shared, every memory cherished, and every rainbow in the sky
Look for Me in Rainbows
As you know, I loved you,
Time for me to leave you.
I won’t say goodbye—
Look for me in rainbows, high up in the sky.
In the evening sunset,
When all the world is through,
Just look for me and love me,
And I’ll be close to you.
It won’t be forever—
The day will come, and then
My loving arms will hold you,
When we meet again.
Time for us to part now,
We won’t say goodbye. ...
