JENSEN- Aulda passed away peacefully with her family at her side in McKenney Creek Hospice in Maple Ridge, BC on April 3, 2016 at age 91 years .
Aulda was born on December 30, 1924 in New Westminster, B.C. Her family moved to Strawberry Hill, Surrey in the 1930’s. She met her future husband Carl while roller skating in Burnaby. Her interests were sewing, art, cooking, love of life and love of family. She made matching dresses for her granddaughters and their dolls. She and Carl enjoyed their retired years traveling. They also spent time at their cabin at Sheridan Lake, BC and a mobile home in Southern California. After Carl’s passing she enjoyed playing snooker and bingo with her buddies at the Panorama Building on 224th Street, Maple Ridge. She will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts and memories.
She was predeceased by her husband Carl and by her sister Evelyn; survived by her 4 sons Gerry(Bev), Greg(Patty), Steve, and Bill(Barb); 5 grandchildren Kari, Paul, Julia, Sarah, and Briza; also by 3 great grandchildren Maya, Evan, and Aidan.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday April 10th at 12Noon at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel,11765-224th Street, Maple Ridge.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Ridge Meadows Hospice Society would be appreciated.
