David de Richmonte Richmond passed away peacefully into the presence of his Lord, February 22nd 2016.
Predeceased by brothers Charles and Albert and sister Jean, David is lovingly remembered by his wife and soul mate of 60 years, Jessie; sons Doug (Donna), Calvin (Kati), Jim (Arlene), Mark (Katrina); grandchildren Melissa, Brett, Andrea, Danielle, Amber, Devon, Jenna; sister-in-law Gwen; brother-in-law Don and nephew Stephen (Mary Lou).
Born October 6th 1927, David was employed by the provincial government as a steam engineer for 35 years. David retired in 1984 and happily maintained a hobby farm until his death.
David enjoyed music, singing in choirs and playing musical instruments, most notably the violin. David and Jessie enjoyed seeing the world from the deck of a cruise ship and began and fostered many friendships on the high seas.
Private burial. Celebration of Life to be held at Victory Baptist Church, Saturday March 5th 2016 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in David`s name to the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation.
