With deepest sadness, his family announces Peter Bender’s sudden death on December 19, 2015, age 33. He was the 4th child and only son of John and Sangsoon. A big baby brother to Anna, Katharine and Elizabeth. He was a husband, a tender loving father to Victoria & Xavier, and an uncle to his niece’s Madison & Ava. He was a great friend and loved by so many familiar and also by those unknown. He was active in his church, always caring for others safety, and had helped many people during their time of need. In his short time, he made lifelong friends all across the globe, loved making new friends and always drawing people together. He loved sports, music, gym, watching movies and playing golf. Peter will be missed dearly and we will cherish all the memories of him forever.
Prayers will be said on Thursday, January 7th, 2016 at 7:00pm at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 20285 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge. Funeral Mass, also at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, on Friday, January 8th, 2016 at 11:00am.
