Obituary of William Henry Mitchell

1920 – 2019 Family and friends are saddened by the loss of Bill Mitchell on May 25, 2019. He was lifetime resident of Maple Ridge and a volunteer of the Maple Ridge Fire Department for over 25 years. He saw service in World War II and came home to become a mechanic eventually becoming an owner/operator of his own service station. He was a long-time member of both the Army, Navy and Air Force Club and the Royal Canadian Legion groups. Bill has five children; Linda, Nancè, Donald (Sherri), Alex (Gail) and Leonard (Toni), 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Celebration of Life will be held at the Maple Ridge Legion, 12101 224 Street, Maple Ridge, on Saturday June 8, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm.
