I am shocked to hear that Gerald had passed away. He was in a band that I named Greenwood with Chris Gale, Reg and Brad of which I managed. I remember his smile and his wit. He was a great guitarist and Singer in Greenwood. Life happens and we loose touch with old friends and as we get older - we remember the good times when we had no cares in the world. Every once in a while - I try to find some of my friends from the old days and when I find one of my mates that have passed - it always shocks me because I think of them as young and vigorous. I wish that someone had posted photos of Gerald in the early 70's when he was at his prime and extremely happy. We didn't have a care in the world. I hope he is at peace and he is one of the people that I will treasure and remember until the end. RIP my old friend - you may be gone - but you will never be forgotten! To his family and friends - my heart aches for you and I truly hope that Gerald had a fulfilling life - I wish I were there to experience it! God be with you all!

I knew gerald when we went to pitt meadows high school together . We used to jam the rock tunes of the day in various parents houses in Hammond and pitt meadows . I remember him being a real gentleman, serious but with a wry sense of humor when he wanted .. I will never forget when he , billy Rogers, and Brian airth played the state at pitt meadows day around 70-71.. I was impressed by his sense of musicianship on the bass guitar and the effortless rhythm he commanded . Rip old friend and someday we could get together up there and practise that old stones tune we never did get right. Peace …

Uncle Gerald, I will always remember you as a Raven. Raven is the trickster of the family. You always liked to tell jokes, smile, and have fun. I have so many memories of you when we were growing up. You were truly “Whimpy” the hamburger man, and addicted to ketchup. You were always a big kid playing with all the kids, paint ball, atara, video games, building tree forts, you always made us laugh. You were the best baby sister a niece could ask for. One of my fondest memories is when you picked me up from brownies when I was 9 yrs old on your motorcycle , I thought I was so cool! and of course all the times we were at the river fishing with grandma and grandpa.
May you rest in peace now Uncle Gerald, the Creator has brought you to the Angels above, you are resting in the spirit world with Papa, and Cheryl. We are blessed by the creator to live the scared circle of life. In the Circle you were the child-( Innocence,) Youth you were learning, Adult-you were protecting, Elder-your guidance. The circle of seasons emphasizes balances of themselves. As I can remember you enjoyed all the seasons. Spring-new life, babies, baby animals, fish, Summer- growth/work/play, Fall – Harvest, It is now Winter- for rest.
You are now in that spiritual circle of rest, and peace with your family
Love you Uncle Gerald,
All My Relations,
Bev, Jody, – Your Niece and Husband.
Love from Brendan and Kaelin.
