Obituary of Norma E. Axten

August 1, 1931 – February 15, 2019 The family of Norma E. Axten (Plewes) are saddened to announce her passing on February 15, 2019 with many loving family members by her side. We are sure that Dad (Elvin) was waiting for Mom with open arms so that they will be together again. Norma passed along her love for family to her two children, daughter Bonnie, and son Cliff and their extended families including Bonnie’s husband Glen, and their children, son Steve with his wife Emily and children Addie with Hazel on the way, daughter Trish with her husband Jason and son Jaxson. Cliff’s partner, Audrey, with Cliff’s children, Leah and Josh with Leah’s son Bailey and Josh’s daughter Ella, Chalsea and husband Chris with twins Ethan and Madalynn, Kody with children Luka and Aria, and Audrey’s daughter Venessa with son Bentley. Norma also leaves behind two wonderful sisters, Phyllis and Linda who loved to get together to reminisce about their older sister Bernice who is welcoming mom in heaven. There are also many special family members and close friends that will miss mom dearly including her fat cat Boo. A celebration of Life honoring Norma will be held at the Garden Hill Funeral Chapel located at 11765-224th St. at 1:00 pm on Sunday February 24th, 2019. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Ridge-Meadows Hospital foundation in Norma’s name.
