Obituary of Corinne Marie Douglas

1952 – 2019 Corinne passed away peacefully in her home in Chilliwack on January 14, 2019. She was born, raised and spent most of her life in New Westminster, before moving to Coquitlam. She also spent time in Kamloops and Clearwater before settling in Chilliwack in 2008. She worked at Riverview for 35 years, where she began her long career in laundry, then moving on to the kitchens, where she met Alan, eventually becoming a secretary. Corinne is predeceased by her parents Mabel and Donald Douglas, her two brothers Larry and Keith, and common-law spouse Alan Pastorek. She is survived by her two children, Susan (Brian) and Joey, best friend Gerry, and her large extended family and network of friends. Corinne had a passion for reading and history, she was known for her love of research, and ability to find obscure facts and information. Her wishes are for no service to be held.
