I am truly heartbroken with this news.
You were a genuine friend of mine for well over 20 years and I will never forget our lengthy conversations, the laughter and all the good times we shared. I was looking forward, as we had planned, to meeting up with you on my return from being out of town over the holidays. I had your shortbread cookies made and ready to deliver, in exchange for your bottle of wine, as has been our ongoing holiday ritual for several years, now. We played telephone tag while I was away – this is how I learned you were in the hospital – there were several calls but unfortunately they were not person to person, which really sucks. I loved Dave and will truly miss him.
My sincere condolences to Marie and family.
