Obituary of Daniel Robert Wiebe

Daniel Robert born on July 6, 1946 in Chilliwack, BC passed peacefully into God’s arms on August 23, 2014 in Maple Ridge BC. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Lynn, and his four children and their spouses; Craig (Tamsin), Sheldon (Annette), Kim (Ron – deceased), Kerri (Ron). In addition there are fifteen grandchildren who were very much loved; Chelsea, Justin, Sarah, Arielle, Jaclyn, Alyssa, Joshua, Emily, Rebecca, Jenna, Rafael, Ryan, Erica, Ty and Joe. Dan was a helicopter pilot, who for many years flew in and around BC, and is known to many, including some of his family as Chopper Dan. His last working years were spent running the operations of Prism Helicopters in Pitt Meadows, BC. He will be sorely missed by all. The staff of the McKenney Hospice provided amazing care, and the family ask that donations to the Hospice be made in lieu of flowers.
