It is with the profoundest sadness that Jenny and Paul Hosford announce the passing of their beloved son, Owen, in a tragic accident whilst hiking near Squamish. He is terribly missed by his brothers Anthony, Matthew, and James, and the Osborne and Hosford families. Owen’s passing has left a hole in all our hearts. He will be remembered for his loving gentle nature, his exuberance for life and love of the outdoors. May God hold you in the palm of his hands.
Vigil prayers will be held on Thursday July 10th at 7:30pm at St Patrick’s Catholic Church – 22561 121 ave, Maple Ridge, and the funeral service at 10:45am Friday July 11th, also at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Owen’s name to Squamish Search and Rescue.
