Steve helped me guidance and helped me prepare the budget on my first home I built. He told me I would be sooooooo happy when it was finished as I wouldn’t have to deal with the ” trades” anymore! I sold that house in 6 months and have been a custom home builder for 23 years now. Thank you Steve, I am deeply saddened to hear of your passing. Peace be with you.

Just read in shock about Steve’s passing. We got to know Steve, Sydney, Jackie and family during many years of softball and soccer. He was always smiling, friendly and could get just a bit competitive. Steve went out of his way to help us out via his work during a house flood we had.
You will be missed Steve. Our thoughts and condolences to all of his family and friends.

Mr. Hammer was an exceptional man. I had the pleasure to get to know Steve quite a few years back now. Steve was vibrant, full of energy, loved to laugh and never at a loss for words; which I’m sure you all know how pumped or extremely excited he got over certain situations or to be the first one to tell you the most recent “secret”
Steve (“The Hammer” – as he liked to be called) was always caring for other people; ensuring that he took care of anyone or anything that mattered most to him, especially his family. Steve was incredibly proud of his daughters Morgan & Sydney, Steve spoke very highly of them and what they’ve accomplished so far in their life.
My deepest & sincerest condolences to Steve’s family and to his closest friends.
You are missed dearly already Steve!
