My thoughts and prayers are with Marie’s loving family, as you say your last goodbye. My heart is filled with so many wonderful memories of Marie and the kids visiting Cranbrook, on her trips here with Jean. She was always such a smiling presence, and her love of life, sense of humour and quick wit made every minute with her an absolute joy. I feel very blessed to have shared so many happy times with her. May your hearts be lifted, and the pain of her passing eased – knowing that she is in God’s loving arms, reunited with her parents and the siblings that have preceeded her. She will be sadly missed, by so many who were blessed to be part of her family. I know that, with her big heart – everyone she met and cared for quickly became “family to her”. All my love to all of you.
