June 17, 1931 – May 2, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth, a loving mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. Ruth was predeceased by her daughter Susie (1975), her husband Ross (2002). Ruth is survived by her sons Don (Lesley), Robbie (Annabel) and grandchildren Ashley, Kylie and Wyatt. She is also survived by brother John (Adele), nieces and nephews along with many committed lifelong friends. We would like to thank the staff at Greystone Manor who in six short years became an important part of Ruth’s family. The staff and residents were beyond amazing. A memorial will be held on Thursday May 8th at Garden Hill Funeral Home 11765 224 St, Maple Ridge at 11:00a.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Parkinson’s Society of BC or BC Children’s Hospital.
