We are very sorry to hear about the passing of Gabe. We were neighbors of his and Alice when they lived on Maple Ave in Chilliwack. He was a great neighbor and friend. We kept in touch with Gabe and Alice after they moved to Abbotsford. We had another neighbor on Maple Avenue, Helen, who Gabe looked after her husband passed away who was another dear friend. Our condolences to all of his family.
We would like to get a copy of his book as we remember Gabe telling us about it and it would be interesting to read about his life during WWII.
