June 24, 1920 – September 30, 2013
Audrey passed into the arms of The Lord surrounded by her 3 daughters.
Predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Larry and son John.
Audrey is survived by her sister, Dorothy and sister in law, Patricia, daughters Judy (Paul) Trapp,
Jill (Brian) Romer, Jane (Jon) Gilbert, grandchildren; Kristina, Carly, Josh, Tyler, Ainsley, Peter, Jenna, and Emily and great grandchildren; Jayden, Taya, and Blake, and many nieces and nephews.
Audrey grew up in Aberdeen, Scotland and later served with the navy, as a WREN, during the Second World War. She married Larry after the war and moved to Canada as a war bride.
She devoted her life to Larry and her family, and later to helping the needy in the downtown east side.
She was devastated with the loss of Larry, 3 1/2 years ago but carried on with the love and support of her family. Through it all, she never lost her unique sense of humour.
She will be missed.
Don’t mourn me because I’m gone, celebrate that I have lived such a full and wonderful life.
A celebration of Audrey’s life will be held at 3:00pm, Tuesday, October 8th at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge.
