My condolences to the family. We had the opportunity to head out west to visit my husbands family in Vernon, BC. It was my Aunty Vickie, Orest’s sister that we should drive to maple ridge and meet with my Uncle Orest. I thought “what a great idea”. Not having my mom around it was nice to meet and spend some time with her brother, my Uncle to give me some piece of family history. That day I Also had the great pleasure of meeting my Uncle Stan. I will forever treasure that special visit. Thank you Uncle Orest and Aunt Jessie for your hospitality and your humble home.
