As young friend of Lynn's going back to the 1970's, I remember enjoying so many times in the Pelton home with Betty and Lynn generously hosting all kinds of gatherings with everything from chilli to pancakes. We spend endless hours playing games and enjoying growing up together. The Peltons were the faces of welcome for a memorable grad breakfast in 1979 with a backyard and house full of tired hungry teenagers. Betty was always cheerful, warm, and fun! I think she was the life of York Street! She obviously never stopped loving and entertaining all the children in her life and will be remembered so well by so many. I am thankful to have been one of the kids who was able to be within her glow for awhile.
