To Joan’s family, I met Joan in water, exercising, I was New & a little uneasy, along came Joan, her smile, laughter & wonderful accent became my staying. We attended a few movies together & of course the wonderful swimming lunches. I was always happy to give her a ride. Joan & a few choicen came to our home for a evening of the Carol Ships sailing by. Joan. She also came & shared in my ordination 21 years ago. I would think of her & often see her but I was done in the pool. Years went by, And then one day when I was at MayfairTerrace to do a service, there was my lovely friend sitting there, she didn’t at first remember me but once she did I saw her often. But the rules are that facilities are not allowed to tell where a resident is Moved too. If I had known where she was I would have continued to visit.
Joan was a joy to know just a blessed gift. May she rest in Gods love.
