We lived next door to Ed & Diane for thirty years what great neighbours! Ed was always needing repairs on his farm equipment when he broke something we’d find it parked in our driveway and Jim would do the repairs as he was a heavy duty mechanic. Anytime someone needed a hand with anything Ed was there ready to help he got his nickname “Fast Eddie” because of his energy! My daughter was horrified when Uncle Ed helped us with her move from one apartment to another because we couldn’t keep up, things were flying out of the elevator but she was moved in record time. Just want to say Ed was a kind, generous, funny guy that we loved very much and were saddened to hear of his passing he will forever be in our hearts and our storytelling of the old neighbourhood. Sending love and our condolences to you Diane and your family.

Ed’s passing has left us with a deep void & broken hearts. Our friendship spanned over 50 years leaving us with an imprint of indelible memories. He was always there for us no matter the circumstance. Once anyone met Ed, one became his forever Family/Friend. We shall miss his intense energy, compassion, willingness to help and his enormous heart, that was larger than the world Ed lived in.
Rest In Peace our Dear Friend.
Our deepest condolences to Diane and Family. May your precious memories of Ed ease the void and heal your broken hearts, In time.

For as long as we have known Ed, he was such a lively and caring person. Every time we wanted to visit Vancouver he always had an open door. We have so many great memories and he will never be forgotten.
Our condolences to Diane to everyone who was close to him. Ed was one of a kind and he will be missed.

Ed, can’t believe you’re not here. You had more energy than the Everready bunny and had loads of room in your heart to be one of the kindest and generous people we know. You were the host with the most to visitors and a thoughtful brother in law to family.
Our thoughts will be of your smiling face , hovering in the background when Diane and here sisters spoke with my Mom.
