Patrick Joseph O’Reilly

(Born Vancouver, BC)

April 8, 1950 – March 17, 2022

Patrick Joseph O’Reilly met his Lord face to face on March 17, 2022, St. Patrick’s Day.  Pat leaves behind his loving wife of almost 50 years, Susan, his son Sean, his daughter-in-law Michelle, grandchildren Summer, Kiefer, Phoenix and Harmony.  Also missing him will be his mom Margaret, sister Maureen (Frank), brothers Brian (Heather) and Michael, sister-in-law Nancy Palecek (Randy), and brother-in-law Paul Dollery. 

Going on before him, dad Patrick (deceased), brother Kevin (deceased), Kevin’s wife Roxanne (deceased), and brother-in-law Jack Dollery (deceased), Mother-in-law Betty Dollery (deceased) and Father-in-law Jack Dollery Sr. (deceased).  Missing Pat will also be his nieces and nephews, in-laws, extended families and his cherished friends.

The family wants to give a special thanks to Dr. Villasenor and Carla, Dr. Nanda, Dr. Nadella, Brenda Volkman, Bernadino, Edwardo, all the staff at Fraser Health Home Support Services staff, as well as the staff at Holyrood, The Madison, Royal Columbian Hospital, and the team at Oceanside Long Term Care (Weatherby Pavillion) led by Eugene Semple and Dr. Cox.  You all have been heroes throughout Pat’s Journey.  A special thank you goes out to all the nameless helpers that have supported us throughout our walk. You could not walk the walk for us but walking beside us raised us up! Blessings to you all.

Know your kindness and compassion has not gone unnoticed!

Donations can be made to the charity of your choice.  During these troubled times in the world, especially in the Ukraine, donations to the Red Cross may be a suggestion and welcomed.

The funeral will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church – 20285 Dewdney Trunk Road in Maple Ridge, on April 8, 2022 at 11:00am.  The reception is following at St. Luke’s family Centre. (The building beside the church).
