Condolences to Richard Sr. and family for this loss. Rick was always fun to be around and had a laugh you could hear from a mile away. His passions for fishing and golf were big like his personality. Very experienced and talented at both. I was fortunate to have been on the river and course with him several times. He'll be missed.

I am sending lots of love and strength to the family at this time. I was shocked to hear of Rick’s passing. I worked for the CGC and he was truly a ray of sunshine whenever he visited our office. I’ll never forget his smile and laugh and how thoughtful he was, always asking about my son’s hockey.
He will be missed! Rest in peace Rick

It is with heavy heart and deep sadness that I say goodbye to my beloved friend Richard Jr. Though words feel inadequate in capturing the full scope of the love, joy, and laughter you brought into my live anytime I am at Cargill Terminal. Your friendship was a gift that I will remember forever.
Though my heart is broken, I am comforted that your words, smile, laughter, kindness, and compassion will live on in my heart forever. Thanks you for being the beautiful, incredible soul that you were. I will miss you more than words can express. Your memory will continue to inspire me, and your spirit will always remain a part of me.
Rest in peace, dear friend.

My heart hurts so much … the ache is profound and the loss is ENORMOUS. Rick always had a way of making me laugh, especially when I was having a bad day. I loved doting on him and annoyed him at times with my passion for decorating. Recently Rick said to me that “he loved our relationship”, and I felt the same way. We gave each other the freedom to do the things we loved. We also spent endless hours with each other and our little dog. We would go on adventures, golf ball hunting in the pouring rain, visits in the late hours to the chehalis river, going across the line for weekend getaway’s. Having the gift of enjoying his close friends Russ & Robyn’s cabin at Roche lake. Rick LOVED to fish, to laugh, to golf and eat the best cuisine. Rick loved the home we made and shared together. He was very close to my Mom, Marilyn, his step children Taylor, Taryn & Jeremy and helped me raise them… we did it together. Rick made my life better a 100% and I adore Richard “Senior” and Sandy, they are my family. Rick had a temper and when it flared I ran… he was not an abusive person by any means but he could be very intimidating (LOL) I love Rick very deeply and feel half empty… the day he left this earth he took my other half with him. It’s going to be a long road of recovery. With all of my heart Rick I love you to my core until we meet again. Your Loving Wife, Marla

Words cannot express how saddened I am to hear about the loss of Ricky. He was many things to me. A respected colleague, golf partner, confidant and most of all a great friend. I had the privilege of knowing "Junior" for 28 years and will always cherish the memories we have shared. My heart goes out to all his Cargill colleagues, friends and family, especially Richard Senior who he had an amazing bond with. Ricky you will be forever missed bud and I will always remember your infectious laugh and smile when I need something to brighten up my day. RIP "Big Dog"

Rick was such a great guy. I met him years ago when he played on the Big Dogs hockey team with Cuz Cass. Crossing paths with Rick would always bring a smile to my face. He was always so genuine, wanting to know how things were going, how was my family and "uncle Remi" doing etc. Rick you will be missed, and with a heavy heart I write this message because we talked about golfing with Norm soon and we never did. Rest in peace, you were a gentle giant off the ice, and great person.

I had the privilege of working golfing and laughing with Rick he left far too soon. He loved fishing and golfing and the similarities between golf and his tackle box is that they were full of hooks! He would of laughed at that for sure. Gonna miss you Rick.RIP Brother.
