Formerly of Kelowna, passed away on October 16, 2014 in Mission, BC at age 91. She was predeceased by her husband Martin in 1987 and son Peter in 2012. She is survived by her loving family; 2 daughters Maria Barber and Susan Ross(Dean); 2 sons Robert(Cynthia) and Martin(Bonnie); 1 brother Jaap in Holland; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. A viewing will be held Monday October 27th 10AM – 12PM at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel 11765-224th Street Maple Ridge. A memorial Service will follow at Mission E. Free Church 33479-8th Ave Mission Monday at 1:30pm. A Graveside Service will take place at Kelowna Memorial Park – 1991 Bernard Ave, Kelowna, at 1:00pm on October 28th.
Mom loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and we rejoice she is with Him. She was a gentle, quiet woman, devoted to her family; we will all miss her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mission Aviation Fellowship – 264 Woodlawn Rd. W., Guelph, Ontario, N1H 1B6.
