Mrs. Elsie (nee Lim) Young, late, of Maple Ridge, BC passed away peacefully on August 10th, 2014 at the age of 92 at the Maple Ridge Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Marjorie Young; her sons .. Wayne, Wallace, and Howard Young; her daughter-in-laws … Gabriel and Wanda Young; her grandchildren… Robert Young, Ryan Young & Aurora Chen, Derek & Sharon Young, Alex Young & Joannie McKillican, Sean Young & Paula Kravjanski, … and her grandniece Nema Young.
Elsie maintained a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed much laughter with her family … especially her grandchildren, throughout her life. She will be greatly missed.
A visitation for family and close friends will be held on Wednesday, August 13th from 7 to 8pm at the Garden Hill Funeral Home at 11765 – 224th Street, Maple Ridge, BC V2X 6A5.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 14th at 12:30pm at the same Garden Hill Funeral Home with tea to follow.
Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park – 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby
