We lost a great man. When I think of my community the first person I think of is Jimmy Adams. He had the kindest heart. When my family moved to Katzie in 1970 Jimmy was the first to welcome us into the community. Since Jimmy and I played the drums we had an immediate connection and he allowed me to play his drums anytime he was having a party. Jimmy taught me to play “Wipe Out”. I cherish this memory always and forever. My deepest condolences to the Family. Love you all.

We will miss Jimmy. He always treated us like we were his own kids, always had a hug and a kiss when we ran into him no matter how long it had been. ❤️May he Rest In Peace knowing that all us kids will look out for June and his family. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends

Oh my goodness. Where do I start. Definitely going to miss the crazy MOMENTS we had when we were together. Nothing but laughter when we were together. A true warrior you were. I truly appreciated how you followed our CULTURAL life. And how you opened your doors for so many relatives over the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family you left behind. What a life to take. What a bond to break. I’ll be missing you. Watch over. Guide and protect us throughout our journeys ahead of us. You are at peace now. RIP Swaneset .

I came to know Jimmy at the worst time in his life. I came to love him, his family and the many people I met thru him. His strength, courage and sense of humor created memories that will never fade thru the rest of my days. Only thru circumstance we lost touch which is always a regret. My heart felt condolences go out to the family and community. White Feather

A wink, a smile, a hug , wise words, a contagious laugh and the twinkle of mischievousness in your eyes are how I remember you my friend. Early morning chats on the wharf watching the goings on of the river is one of my most precious memories with you. Rest now, you loved graciously and were loved immensely. Respectly and with love I send my condolences to June and the family.

Loni – and all of your family: I am truly sorry for your loss. I did not know your dad – but from what I have heard and read he was a very special and well loved man who will be missed by many. I’m sure he will watch over all of you. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.
